LEADERSHIP
Miyelani Shikwambana
Founder and CEOMiyelani has over 17 years’ experience in the communications fraternity having joined Brunswick in September 2012. He has facilitated numerous engagements with policy makers and clients on key regulatory issues affecting the South African market. These include his involvement on the Lonmin crises, the AB InBev transaction with SAB Miller and the Pepsico acquisition of Pioneer Foods.
He has also advised Exxaro and Anglo Platinum in their Just Transition positioning across stakeholder groupings. Miyelani is a public affairs and media relations expert who has helped many blue chip clients navigate the South African political and regulatory landscape. He has served as a BEE trustee for the Brunswick group and also led its Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
Previously he worked for Nedbank, Standard Bank and Wits Business School as marketing and communication manager.
Our CEO is supported by a team of communications, corporate finance and turnaround experts with more than 15 years of experience in their field. The team comprises of qualified Chartered Accountants CA(SA), seasoned business people, Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA), and Senior Business Rescue Practitioners (BRP). Their experience cuts across various industries with deeper understanding of the political, public, media and corporate landscape.
